About the programme
Listed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List, the greater one-horned (GoH) rhino population showed decline in the Indian landscape. ManpowerGroup India joined hands with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to protect and help the rhino population flourish at Dudhwa National Park, Uttar Pradesh.
How did we do it?
9 rhinos were introduced in the allocated landscape within the tiger reserve. The plan included monitoring them, strengthening security, improving habitat management, engaging in population management through translocations, and more. Special care was taken with regards to Tiger predation and in-breeding issues.

- Rhino population increased from 9 to 42
- Local forest authorities were assisted
